Drafting
I've taken classes on Revit, Solidworks, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
Revit was my first course in the Engineering Design program. I really enjoyed being creative with my final project. I may have been a little overambitious, however, in recreating (and developing a real-world version) of Princess Peach's Castle from the Nintendo game Super Mario 64. It took many long hours and a sore realization that videogame physics won't translate very well into real life.

AutoCAD was more difficult to learn, but now that I've got the hang of it, I really enjoy it. I've been working professionally in AutoCAD and Civil 3D for the past 2 years, and have developed my skills, speed, and efficiency in the program.

Solidworks has been my favorite program to learn. I love the ease of designing and dimensioning parts in 3D. For my final project, I created a Lego man to scale and had it 3D-printed. I used a metric ruler and a magnifying glass to measure a real Lego man, and my millimeter measurements were accurate enough to make the 3D-printed one fit with actual Lego pieces.

Our class was divided into groups, then required to create a logo for our group's "company". Each member created their own version of the logo.
